Position Summary
·Processing invoices and providing invoice oversight by reconciling to projects and general ledger, insuring that current negotiated service rate sheets are being utilized.
·Tracking costs and maintaining monthly cost tracking reports, communicating project cost status to Engineers.
·Reviewing project budgets, budget transfers, scope changes and contingency trends during project life cycles, and communicating status to project managers.
·Maintaining project schedule documentation.
·Providing customer service to external and internal customers including Engineering staff, other project coordinators and contractors.
·Providing backup support to other work groups within Koch Pipeline Company.

Skills, Experience and Education Required:

· 2+ years experience in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Project
· 1 + years experience with project management support and expediting.
· 2+ years business related administrative experience, including experience with project and cost tracking and invoice management.
· 1 + years experience and knowledge in project scheduling and execution.
· 1+ years experience working with database information and report generation.
· Must have good communication skills to articulate and conduct business effectively Ability to interact with outside contractors and vendors to expedite purchase orders and service contracts.
· High School Diploma or Equivalent

We have an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineer at our corporate headquarters and offer relocation assistance for the right candidate.

What you will be doing:

Assist in the designing, scoping and managing of the installation of field projects.
Support of operational pipeline systems including the development of final documentation packages.
Inspection of equipment at remote sites, vendor facilities and similar installations.
Identify problems and provide technical guidance for other processes.

What you will need:
B.S. Mechanical Eng. degree and 5+ yrs experience in the liquid pipeline or refinery industry.
Knowledge of design & construction of substantial marine, liquid pipeline or oil movement systems.
Experience as a Project Mgr. on multi-discipline construction projects.
Experience with significant facility design changes.
Good communication skills.
Pipeline hydraulic knowledge is preferred.
