Job Description
- Ensure quality of Contractor's structural engineering deliverables developed during detailed design
- Ensure Company specifications (structural/weight control) are incorporated into the FEED specifications and drawings
- Steward Contractor preparation of procurement packages for structural components
- Respond to Contractor technical queries regarding structural and weight control
- Monitor and report on Contractor structural engineering progress
- Interface with Project team in Contractor's office on all aspects of the work (e.g., technical, execution, risk, permitting, etc.)
- Coordinate with specialist engineers on technical issues (e.g., weight control) and design reviews
- Update regarding status, achievements and issues

Experience/Expertise
- Candidates with experience in structural design, engineering, and engineering support during fabrication for drilling rigs.

Duration
1 year, Work will likely continue beyond the 1-year engineering effort to support fabrication work.
