Location: Houston, TX

The Applications Engineer is responsible for processing requests for quote ( RFQ ), completing the following tasks:

o Compressor performance analysis.
o Recommending options based on customer requirements.
o Use the above information to create price quotes.
o Schedule risk reviews (when necessary).

*Responsible for the maintenance/development of tools to improve accuracy & timeliness of compressor sizing & quotation.
*Support development of price book.
*Attendance at industry trade shows as required.
*Support Customer training.
*Track the cost of the products with Finance support, analyzing trends and providing business leaders with the necessary information to make sure that the competitiveness of the product for each segment is properly monitored.
*Assist in forecast development.
*Setup meeting and tours for customer visits.

Qualifications


*Bachelors degree in Engineering or other technical field.
*Minimum of 1 year experience with rotating equipment.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
