Welding Manufacturing Engineer

Location: West Point, GAAs a Welding Engineer you will be working on the construction of the welding shop, help with equipment installation, production lay-out, supplier selection and production launch. Once production starts you, as welding specialist, will assist management with the processing of downtime and help find solutions to reduce downtime. You will check quality and provide quick solutions for any quality issues during production. You will provide technical direction to welding group.As a welding engineer, you talk the manufacturing language of metallurgy, fractures, porosity, dissecting, weld nuggets etc. You will play a major role in the success of the manufacturing plant. Two - five years in equivalent role will be required.Relocation assistance, tremendous benefits, 401K and more. Overtime is paid.Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronic engineering or equivalent welding degree/experience. Automotive manufacturing background would be an asset.
