Manage:
* Responsible for facility project management: oversight, integration, and coordination of activities among staff and outsourced engineering and architectural teams and experimental user groups to plan and design research laboratories and infrastructure to support the construction, installation and operation of experimental equipment for the proposed Initial Suite of Experiments.
* As Owner's Representative, provide contract management, oversight and coordination of out-sourced production of design and construction documents, development and implementation of architectural standards and specifications (GREEN building design and LEED certification), adherence to codes and all environmental, health and safety requirements. Assist with criteria, evaluation and selection of architectural and engineering and construction teams.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field and PMP Certification.
* Demonstrate significant experience in facility construction and/or project management, including skills such as sound architectural and engineering judgment, technical facilities project management, evidence of strong communication skills and experience at management-level positions, and innovative, creative problem-solving.
* Minimum of ten years experience in relevant engineering, construction, architecture or facility project management.
* Educational background and experience may include design, construction, management or operations in some of the following areas: 1) Large-scale (>$100M) construction project management, 2) Federally funded projects, 3) Systems engineering, 4) Mining engineering or underground facilities, 5) Construction management, 6) Research facilities and laboratories, 7) Complex industrial or hospital facilities, 8) Site planning, 9) Educational facilities and office buildings.

Desired
* Experience with a wide variety of project-delivery methods.
* Technical skills including desktop computer applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Primavera, AutoCAD, PowerPoint, construction project and document management software, etc.).
