Process Engineer-Oil and Gas
Location: Houston, TX

Description :
Drilling and Production Process Engineering provides technical expertise primarily to business units worldwide in support of their operations achieving production targets and business goals. Tasks include providing start up operations support, problem solving, debottlenecking studies and field optimization on existing, new and revamp oil and gas processing facilities. Process Engineering also supports championing and driving implementation of technology development applications in heavy oil, arctic, sub-sea, multiphase flow pipeline modeling, LNG liquefaction plants and LNG regas terminals. A limited process engineering support role is also provided to major projects and business Development from concept selection in coordination with Projects Engineering. Routine participation is often requested on formal peer reviews for major projects. The process engineer is expected to work effectively with business unit staffs, joint ventures, national oil companies, and project engineers to advance technical quality, innovation and asset operating performance.

Required & Preferred Skills/Competencies
Proven ability to work effectively with and influence others
Demonstrated excellent judgment with track record of developing and implementing sound workable solutions
Strong technical skills in process engineering including steady-state and dynamic process simulations
Process and operations experience with sweet and sour hydrocarbon gas and liquid processing, separation, dehydration, refrigeration, fractionation, equipment sizing/selection, gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, heat exchangers, process control systems, and PVT behavior.

Desired Experience Level
7+ years of combined experience in process engineering for OandG projects and field operations.
