Project Engineer

One of the most experienced Engineering & Energy Services firms providing natural gas & specialty well services. Projects range from underground injection and storage well systems to complex subsurface investigations and remediation for the oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical, utilities, mining, and other industries.

DUTIES:

* Project/Field supervision of subcontractors and vendors for drilling, completions, workovers, cementing, and testing.
* Work with a professional staff to permit, design, construct, service and maintain well systems, to include injection and storage well systems for the gas transmission, refining, chemical, and petrochemical industries.
* Perform field work as required.
* Manage multiple projects that can encompass individual services or full turnkey services. Specific services include:
o Feasibility Studies
o Project Management
o Design
o Modeling
o Regulatory Permit Applications
o Construction Management
o Well Maintenance & Repair
o Procurement
o System Testing (e.g. mechanical integrity testing, corrosion studies)
* Develop and prepare reports, proposals and presentation materials, as well as attend client meetings.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Degreed Engineer with hands-on experience and strong working knowledge of drilling, completion, and workover principles with field Well experience. Will consider degrees other than Petroleum Engineering.
* Experience directing and supervising field personnel or subcontractors a plus.
* Underground natural gas or LNG storage experience whether salt cavern or depleted reservoir a plus.
* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Solid communication and computer skills.
* Willing to travel (20% - 25%).
* Any certifications such as IADC or registered P.E. a plus
