Position Responsibilities:
* Prepare design and specifications for injection and monitoring wells for carbon dioxide storage
* Evaluate well materials for compatibility with native fluid and injectate (carbon dioxide)
* Develop injection program (i.e. surface and subsurface flow, temperature, and pressure)
* Evaluation of data and reservoir modeling as a tool to manage and optimize injection programs.
* Planning
* Identification of qualified vendors
* Interact with vendors to solicit cost quotations
* Coordinate vendors and contractors
* Site supervision
* Track equipment and materials entering and leaving the site
* Work to assure efficient drilling operations
* Prepare and submit daily progress reports
* Maintain a safe work site

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Petroleum Engineering
* Knowledge of well construction methods, materials selection, and well design software.
* Understanding of reservoir management principles and working knowledge of reservoir engineering software
* 1-3 years experienced in oil and gas drilling programs (including intern and co-op experience)
