Technical Engineer

Technical Engineer

The position will be reporting to Supervisor of Service Planning Department. His / Her responsible for evaluate the product before and after launching; to provide on site and / or telephone technical support to clients; and handle ad-hoc projects.

Requirements:

- Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or relevant subjects, fresh graduates are also welcome;
- 1 - 2 years working experience in technical service maintenance or in IT support including server / network;
- Solid experience in Microsoft platform, hardware and software maintenance;
- Knowledge of Internet services technologies;
- Familiar with Windows Operation System and Linux Networking; and
- Certificate holder with IT topics will be advantage.

Data mining engineer

The person in this position will be a critical member of a team of highly motivated individuals tasked to create processes and tools to significantly improve engine reliability and durability and assist in implementation of these processes and tools on major and tactical engine NPI programs. Tasks will include the development of data mining processes and tools for data aggregation, feature extraction, modeling, and forecasting reliability and durability of Caterpillar engines.

A minimum of a B.S. in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, Electrical Engineering, or related field is required. A background in data mining and experience with tools such as Statistica and SPSS are necessary.
