This is a senior staff engineer position. Incumbent will be responsible for the specification and application of rotating machinery including compressors, turbines and pumps. Additional duties may include specification, selection and services relating to mechanical equipment such utility equipment, packaged units, material handling and bulk solids processing systems.

• Knowledgable with analysis of fluid/thermal systems
• Knowledgable with offshore equipment and environments
• In-depth understanding of machine design and application
• In-depth understanding of rotordynamic principals and analysis
• Supervise assignments for associate engineers.
• Apply judgment in making selections and adaptation of engineering alternatives.
• Ability to provide technical guidance for associate engineers, designers and drafters.
• Preparation of data sheets, specifications, and requisitions for rotating equipment, packaged units, or utility equipment - pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, refrigeration systems, water treating systems, etc.
• Perform technical bid evaluations.
• Vendor drawing review and engineering coordination of technical information with vendors and company engineering specialists.
• Witnessing of acceptance tests at vendor shops.
• Field commissioning and startup support when required.
