Job Duties:
* Analyze building mechanical and electrical systems to resolve operational issues. Peform hands-on testing and a field investigation as part of the analysis.
* Will investigate current facility operations and identify methods, technologies and process changes which may be implemented to reduce energy costs.
* Mechanical design of energy retrofit projects and infrastructure projects.
* Oversee mechanical system installation and startup to ensure that systems and equipment are installed and function according to specifications. Serve as client point of contact for all communication re. initial specifications, project updates, resolution of concerns
* Communicate project deficiencies and issues to owners, contractors, and other stakeholders in a professional and productive manner
Job Requirements:
* Possess a B.S.M.E. or B.S.A.E. with a mechanical specialty; and have at least two years of industry experience.
* Computer literate; knowledge of applicable software.
* Ability to recognize, identify, assess and produce detailed calculations for energy conservation projects.
* Possess an in-depth combination of analytical and investigative skills.
* Previous experience with cost estimating for mechanical projects
* Previous experience with facility heating, cooling, ventilation and lighting systems.
* Ability to readily recognize inefficient systems and be familiar with the newest technologies for retrofit.
* Ability to identify and resolve complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Additional Skills/Certifications Desired:
* E.I.T. or P.E. license
* LEED Accreditation

Position Description:
Develop and support infastructure to faciliate enterprise deployment and adoption of KX systems KDB/Q timeseries database product.
* Develop plugins in C/C++ to allow KDB to integrate with our messaging systems (application and market data) and RDBMS systems.
* Help design and deploy an enterprise tick plant.
* Write analytics libraries in Q
* Consult with application development groups to help them adopt and benefit from KDB
* Write and support model backtest frameworks
Skills Required:
