Description: Seeking a strong technical sales person to support existing OEM and aftermarket accounts, plus establish relationships with new accounts both domestically and selectively throughout the world. Primary account focus is the drill pipe OEM and refurbishing account base. This person is required to have at least 10 years experience working with customers, i.e. sales or technical support; should have experience in the gas industry and be technically oriented and be a quick study of coated materials; should be flexible to travel both domestically and internationally; be personable and motivated to sales and compensation goals; capable of growing long term relationships with customers. College degree is helpful but experience is more important. In addition, experience in the drill pipe industry and/or ancillary applications; experience in the coating industry; exceptional track record in sales and demonstration of being a quick study; knowledge of machine type welding and metallurgical knowledge of high allow materials are all pluses. A degree in welding or associated subject area is also a plus.
