* At least 3 years experience in Metal Fabrication Industry
* Familiar with Metal Welding Processes (SMAW/GTAW/FCAW/SAW)
* Degree/Diploma qualification in Mechanical Engineering
* Computer literate in Auto-Cad will be an added advantage
* Must be able to communicate in Mandarin or Cantonese

Aerotek Energy has an immediate opening for a Production Engineer in the Kansas City area.

Position Summary: Production and reservoir engineering duties including monitoring existing fields and optimizing the production rates. Participate in drilling and completion operations, including field supervision. Monitor available accounting information to locate trends and optimization opportunities. Provide financial analysis and solutions to maximize the profitability of the district. Assist in the preparation of corporate reserve reports and other economic evaluations.

Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in engineering and minimum of 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Coalbed methane experience preferred

Engineer,Sr Staff Production

Description

Engineer,Sr Staff Production will be responsible for well surveillance and optimization in the Arklatex District. The engineer will be responsible for maximizing production through new well completions, recompletions and workovers identified through asset development, field reviews and well surveillance efforts. This position involves being a team leader, mentor to new employees, and providing relief for operations, engineering, and production manager on an as needed basis.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering or related petroleum discipline with 8+ years of experience (Arklatex experience preferred). Good oral and written communications skills with the ability to work in a team environment. Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Aries.
