Preferred qualifications:
Multi disciplined skills in mechanical and electrical helpful.

Job Duties:
Provide field engineering support to several projects.
System walk downs, review and update drawings, and developing Design Change Notice (DCN) packages.
Resolve field problems and prepare design layouts.

Job Description -Installation and service of Cameron equipment both on- and offshore

-Ensure that all necessary documents required for the performance of the work are available at all times.
-Prior to leaving the job location, ensure that all the required paperwork is complete.
-Report any problems with regard to the work to his/her supervisor as soon as possible.
-Keep abreast of new developments with regard to procedures/ equipment that will affect his/her work.
-Assist in the Cameron repair facilities as required.

Job Requirements/ Qualifications-Vocational trained Mechanic, industrial/automation/machine/ plumbing or equivalent. Long relevant experience can compensate for formal education, but must at least have some technical education in machine/mechanics.

-Direct relevant experience with Cameron’s equipment, or direct applicable outside experience.
-Very good communication and negotiations skills.
-Ability to accurate read and understand assembly drawings, procedure and bom's.
-Trained and proficient in installation and maintenance of oil tool equipment.
-Good English qualifications both written and spoken.

Supports all aspects of remote field service operations including marine f/o cable installation, environmental sensor suite installation, LCE/Winch/A-Frame operations, launch & recovery of survey equipment. Must be able to receive general tasking and independently accomplish it while working together with a team of Field Engineers. Must be flexible to schedule changes and able to travel on short notice. Position requires candidate to live and work in close quarters for extended periods.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS:
Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or addition of 5 years to overall experience requirement. Minimum 3 years general marine engineering experience.

Under direct supervision, responsibilities are to learn the job role for the Directional Drilling service line and the processes, tools and equipment used in Directional Drilling to develop the proficiencies required to include, but are not limited to: maintaining equipment inventory and supervising movement to and from well site, checking equipment and advising on repair requirements, and maintaining drilling computer database for on-going jobs, preparing job ticket, daily drilling and end-of-well reports. Provides on-site supervision of the Directional Drilling process including projection of well path to pre-determined target coordinates. Serves as the second man in a subordinate role on select jobs. Provides technical and operational expertise to external customer in a professional manner.
