Job Summary:

* Preparation of Process Design Basis, Process Flow Diagrams, P&I Diagrams, mass and energy balances, equipments sizing and rating, HAZOP and other safety studies for oil and gas production systems offshore on platform topsides or on floating structures.
* Experience in processing and transporting heavy oil in and offshore environment.
* Optimization of field development plans, offshore oil/gas/water treatment facilities, process troubleshooting, production planning, process control and safety systems.
* Performing calculations and preparing process data sheets for all types of process equipment and systems.
* Familiar with all relevant codes and standards and Recommended Practices for the process/mechanical design of the offshore oil, gas and water facilities.
* Proficiency in design of utility and support systems for offshore oil and gas production facilities.

Description: Performs engineering calculations associated with pressure relief system design/analysis with emphasis placed on quality of work product & work efficiency. Identifies overpressure scenarios for various types of process equipment. Calculates relief loads for all types of overpressure scenarios. Evaluates pressure relief device capacities. Utilizes process simulation tools. Performs relief header & flare analysis. Presents results to clients. Mentors less-experienced personnel about overpressure concepts. Performs quality checks for less-experienced personnel. Participates in overpressure concepts training for the less-experienced personnel & clients. Performs reactive system &/or rate-dependent analysis. Provides new design specification &/or action plan preparation after receiving process hazard concerns from clients, so that the clients can operate in compliance with the regulations. Develops overpressure simulations or heat & material balances using process simulation tools. Interprets data from piping & instrument diagrams, process flow diagrams, plot plans, piping isometrics, mechanical design information, typical unit operation specifications, & electrical one-line diagram. Requirements:
