Management position with Upstream experience providing guidance for oil and gas and/or LNG production facilities. Interface experience with drilling, fabrication, installation and hookup/commissioning. Broad - based background in all technical disciplines.
• Reviews the facility scope to determine that it is properly defined to support project deliverables and cost estimates.
• Provides technical oversight of facility layout, including considerations related to process, mechanical, electrical, fabrication, installation, operations and maintenance.
• Reviews design work to ensure it is completed to industry standards and regulations, and is consistent with the project objectives of safety, operability, reliability and cost effectiveness. Provides proper input into design studies, documents and models.
• Participates in project planning, execution, and organization strategy sessions with the Engineering Manager, Project Manager, Project Controls Manager, Construction Manager, Procurement Manager, and Contracts Manager.
• Review engineering work scope and design documents to ensure they are properly defined and completed to support procurement packages, fabrication, and installation.
• Additional requisite experience with assisting sales in helping with client relations and preparing and presenting proposals.
• Approve project design documents, including design drawings, specifications, and datasheets, as per designated approval authority and project procedures.
Experience with float-over installations & modules larger than 15 tons preferred.
Extensive experience in the offshore industry in the Engineering, Fabrication or Installation phases of projects including offshore production facilities (fixed or floating) and field development. 3 years of recent experience in a lead role in the Engineering phase required. Experience with/in a fabrication yard or offshore installation environment is recommended. Must hold a bachelors degree in engineering or other technical fields from an accredited university.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Diploma or BS Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Current certificate in BOP and Well Control. Experience: 7 years with a BS degree. 13 years without a BS. Candidate should have skill and expertise in deviated drilling including short radius horizontal wells and offshore jackup drilling experience and should have in depth knowledge of top drive units, MWD technology and oil base muds. Must have experience in drilling high pressure/high temperature wells as deep as 17,000 feet with heavy mud weights as high as 165 PCF in high H2S concentrations of 20%.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Liaisonman shall serve as the primary liaison between Saudi Aramco and Contractor and will provide supervision of all Operations performed on Saudi Aramco Wells. Will provide training and evaluation of Saudi Aramco Saudi Arab Liaisonmen/Toolpusher trainees. Will make recommendations on alternative methods of equipment when unusual situations are encountered and will coordinate timely deliveries of Saudi Aramco and Service Company materials and equipment to the Well as required. The Liaisonman will ensure that the Contractor meets all requirements of the contract and will verify and approve all the Contractor and Service Company Operations by way of tour reports and field tickets.
