A leading international provider of services for managing and eliminating unnecessary risks, globally linked together by state-of-the-art information technology is actively searching for a SESAM Technical Client Consultant / Structural Offshore Engineer. MAJOR DUTIES INCLUDE: Help clients establish best practices in the design of offshore floating and fixed structures. Help clients implement and use the company software products for offshore design and analysis. Assist the sales team with technical and practical FEM and hydrodynamic issues. Pre-sales support and participation in exhibitions and delivery of training courses. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Structural or Offshore Engineering required. Masters degree preferred. 2-5 years of experience. Computer literate and competent in using technical software applications, involving structural analysis. Ideally will have practical experience in structural engineering or hydrodynamics. Experience of the application of SESAM or similar will be an advantage. Open minded towards developing technology and attention to detail. SALARY: $70-95K/yr based on experience. Great Benefits! Relocation available for the right candidate. Offshore Structural Engineer :
The Structural Engineer provides structural engineering support and
performs structural design tasks on jackets, decks and topsides related to
design and installation of offshore platforms and pipelines. In addition
the engineer prepares design reports for clients, presents results and
advises clients on questions related to structural design of offshore
platforms and platform components, develops sketches and provides other
input to drafting. The engineer may provide guidance to Staff Engineers on
structural related issues and prepare and/or verify design reports
prepared by Staff Engineers.

Qualified candidates :
will possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil
or Ocean Engineering or equivalent experience. In addition to the
educational requirements, candidates should also possess a minimum of 3 to
5 years experience in structural engineering that includes offshore
structures, a working knowledge of applications of marine hydrodynamics,
and experience in software packages like SACS, ALGOR, NASTRAN, SESAM, or
ANSYS.

Domestic as well as international travel may be required.
