Education :
Will hold a degree/HNC or equivalent qualification in a relevant field and be able to demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge in the fluids area.

Experience :
Will have a substantial level of experience of working in offshore operations.

Skills :
- Will have a good, working knowledge of standards, rules and procedures in the fluids and environmental areas and be trained in statutory regulations.
- Will have a high level of awareness of Health and Safety issues, along with the ability to encourage conscientiousness in others where health and safety is concerned.
- Will be adept at working in a team, collaborating and working in partnership to share expertise.

Drilling Engineer

Location: Santa Barbara, CA, Denver, CO
Salary: $150,000 - $200,000

Your Technical Skills will include:

- 5+ years as a Drill Engineer or Completion Engineer
- Well Design, Wellbore Hydraulics, Downhole Equipment Design, AFEs and Cost Estimates
- HTHP drilling, Horizontal, ERD, Multi-lateral Wells, Nodal Analysis, Simulation and Flowback
- Platform experience for our California position
- On & Offshore experience

What you'll be doing:

- Preliminary well designs, cost estimates, final drilling procedures, and review drilling reports.
- Prepare and analyze bid documents, verify invoices, and provide budget data.
- Gather and interpret complex technical data, advanced field studies, cost estimating, critical well designs,

Offshore Jackup Drilling Supervisor

Candidate Requirements
•Responsible for overall supervision of drilling operations on Jackup Rig
•Record 24hr. drilling report & liaise with drilling superintendent/engineer.
•Monitor daily contractor’s performance as per plan.
•Ensure work is carried out following standard oil field practices in minimum time.
•Responsible for timely mob.& demob.of all services & material.
•ptimization of parameters & responsible for reduction of NPT.
•Determine requirements for services/material in advance
•Demonstrate a high level of leadership in EHS management and execution.
•Implement drilling program and communicate progress with shore based team.
•Actively manage drilling contractor, services and equipment.
•Promote a team approach to drilling operations.
•Be responsible for incident reporting and investigation.
•Contribute to well planning and learning process through input into drilling procedures, forward program and active participation in the Lessons Learned process.
•Ensure all operations are in compliance with company drilling program & procedures.
•Support EHS leadership for drilling operations.
•Must be able to work rotational schedule, e.g. 14/14, 28/28
•Previous experience working jackups is strongly preferred.
•Demonstrated EHS leadership skills
•Demonstrated operations leadership skills
•Strong communication and organizational skills.
•Strong operational drilling experience.
•A minimum of 10 years supervisory and rig experience is required.
•Ensure contractors & third party personnel comply with company safety policies.
•Ensure all permit to work systems & JSAs are performed as needed
•Conduct daily HSE tours of the rig & identify unsafe acts, conditions & behavior
•Conduct safety meetings, Incident investigations & reporting

SKILLS:
· Experience in drilling related software
· IWCF or IADC-Supervisory Level
· Experience in DIMS and Well View Software a plus
