Job Description: Pride International is looking for a Chief Engineer to man the 4 drillships that are currently under construction in South Korea.
Qualifications: Dynamic Positioning and Azipod systems experience is preferred but not required.
5yrs+ Drillship is preferred but exceptional candidates with deep sea experience may be considered for the positions.
Must be a US citizen.
Compensation: $150-200k

Mining Planning Engineer
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Mining Planning Engineer to step into a role with a top tier mining company in the Bowen Basin offering exceptional career training and development opportunities.
Just a few hours from the stunning Queensland coastline, you will be working a family friendly Monday-Friday roster. Reporting to the Technical Services Manager your main duties will include:
* Presenting conceptual designs to short term engineers and mine operations
* Producing a 5 year mine plan towards optimising the mine-site's long term objectives
* Providing strategic technical support
* Coordinating the operational design and safety of the mine
* Reporting and production forecasting
To be successful in this role you will be degree qualified and ideally be familiar with 3D Dig, Vulcan/Xpac software with previous experience in an open cut mining environment. You will have a minimum of 4 years experience in the Australian coal mining industry.
Salaries will be commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $110k - $135k + benefits. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
