Facilities Engineer

BP is the largest operator (excluding National Oil Companies) in the world with over 6.6MM BOE/Day gross operated production and operations in 25 countries on six continents. The largest community in BP's Exploration and Production (E&P) Segment, around 6000 people work in operations, essentially delivering oil and gas from the wellhead to the market. Operations staff play a significant role at all stages of the exploration and production cycle - providing input to a project from early appraisal all the way through to full production.

The Wyoming Facilities team is seeking a facilities engineer to provide technical field support for the Wamsutter field and to provide project management capability, as required, to support drilling and operations activities.

-Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer
-Must not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., TN, H1B status)
-Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Petroleum Engineering
-A minimum of 5 years facilities engineering and/or production operations experience
-Must have experience in facilities and process integrity
-Must have experience in the design of pressure vessels, piping systems, tanks, valves, heat exchangers and other mechanical static equipment
-Must have experience in control and relief valves
-Must have experience in project management
-Strong interpersonal, communication and diversity skills
-Strong Health, Safety and Environmental focus and commitment
-Self motivated and able to work both independently and as a good team player
-Able to work well with multi-disciplinary teams and can effectively interact with a broad range of technical disciplines
-Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently in order to perform the essential job functions
