Inspector (Offshore Operations & Safety)

SALARY RANGE: 36,822.00 - 70,843.00 USD per year
POSITION INFORMATION: Full Time Career/Career Conditional

JOB SUMMARY:

If you are selected for the position of Inspector of Offshore operations and Safety you will be performing safety and environmental inspections of known or conventional and non-conventional oil, gas, and other mineral facilities and operations in the Outer Continental Shelf. You will be conducting investigations dealing with a full range of activities such as drilling, workover/completion, and production, also production measurement/verification, pipeline, site security activities and operations. To be successful in this position you must have excellent interpersonal skills, have a team player mentality, excellent communication skills and analytical skills.

If selected for this position you would work in the Inspection Unit of the Field Operations section within the Office of the Deputy Regional Supervisor for District Operations New Orleans District, Gulf of Mexico OCS Region, located in Jefferson, LA.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent walking, bending, stooping, and climbing tall ladders during inspection of offshore oil and gas facilities; helicopter travel required. As defined by the MMS Medical Standards Program, you will be required to pass a pre-employment medical examination as a condition of employment.
