Process Mechanical Engineer

Rolls-Royce Energy Systems Inc. produces gas turbine power solutions globally for the oil & gas/power generation markets. Accountabilities include defining and producing safe, cost effective, reliable, and maintainable gas turbine package system designs and associated balance of plant equipment for both oil and gas and utility power generation applications on and offshore.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to verifying functionality and conformance to customer specifications, preparing and interpreting engineering specifications for balance of plant (BOP) equipment (such as WHRUs, SCRs, heat exchangers, process valving, etc.) for power and process plants, producing Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's), developing interconnect piping drawings to connect the BOP equipment with the gas turbine package, and generating specifications for installation and erection. The engineer shall be responsible for review of vendor quotations, designs, and drawings to ensure they meet both Rolls-Royce and customer requirements. The engineer will review and approve project drawings and documentation, interface directly with customers during vendor co-ordination meetings (VCM) and factory tests (CWT). Liaise with other engineers to assure functional integration of products and associated designs.

Provide technical coordination and oversight of equipment/system requirements and consumption/utility data, between R-R equipment suppliers and customers/integrators, with particular focus on provision of technical data required to assist customers/integrators in obtaining authority approvals.

BASIC:
Candidates will hold a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with experience in equipment packaging or power/process plant sizing.
