Granherne; a multi-disciplinary deepwater systems engineering organization with marine, riser, structural, subsea, pipeline, process and flow assurance capabilities. Granherne is a subsidiary of KBR

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Responsible for executing design and consulting work related to deepwater floating platforms.
* Duties include analysis of the structural and hydrodynamic response of various platforms, design and analysis of hull structural components, finite element analysis, fatigue analysis, supervising development of structural drawings and interface with client and other Granherne/KBR staff.
* Need to be able to supervise and direct personnel to accomplish specific tasks.

REQUIREMENTS
* BS, MS or PhD in Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering or Civil Engineering.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in the offshore industry, with focus on structural design and analysis of deepwater floating platforms.
* Good oral and written communication are required as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
* Professional Engineering License is preferred
* Experience with SESAM software preferred
