Shell Exploration & Production Company (SEPCo) is responsible for safely finding, developing and producing oil and natural gas in the United States. Shell has been operating in the Gulf of Mexico for five decades and these operations provide more than 73 percent of our U.S. oil and gas production.

SEPCo, which employs approximately 2,000 people in the U.S., is the largest of Shell's E&P operating units, accounting for 17 percent of Shell's worldwide oil and gas production. Based in Houston, Texas, our key operating locations are in the Gulf of Mexico, South Texas, Wyoming, Alabama, and Alaska.

Shell Exploration and Production Company is currently seeking two Mechanical Engineers for their Houston, Texas location.

Responsibilities:
* Act as a key member of an interdisciplinary team of technical staff who will identify, quantify, and validate development enhancements for commercially sized applications of technology deployed to recover these resources.

Requirements:
* Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
* Bachelors degree (preferably higher) in Mechanical Engineering
* Minimum of 7 years experience in mechanical engineering, facilities engineering, or large scale OEM equipment design
* Experience in Large Scale Commodities Manufacturing would be a strong advantage
* Experience in Project Management processes and procedures would be an advantage
* Manufacturing Machine design and operations experience would be a strong advantage
* Certification as Quality Engineer would be a strong advantage
