Marathon Oil Corporation seeks a Drilling Engineer I, in Houston, TX, to, under supervision, design, plan, coordinate, and implement drilling programs for the North America Onshore Division. Work closely with members of the WWD Organization and other disciplines within the Asset Teams in developing strategies to achieve well construction and data gathering objectives. With guidance of more experienced engineers, provide conceptual ideas and cost estimates for strategic portfolio decisions; and develop cost estimates and risks vs. rewards analysis to determine the best operational methods to achieve chosen strategies. Working with more experienced engineers, review offset information to identify potential problems and areas for improvement.
