We are now recruiting for a dynamic Process Engineer with a sound process engineering background, a good working knowledge of steady state simulations and a desire to expand into the area of dynamic simulation or proven existing knowledge of dynamic simulation.

A working knowledge of oil and gas, refinery and chemical processes is required.

The successful candidate must have a firm understanding of the principles of process control. Knowledge of dynamic simulation or transient surge analysis would be advantageous, training will be provided.

The Primary duty of the dynamic simulation engineer will be develop and enhance the current dynamic simulation experience. As such the successful candidate will be responsible for:

The development of dynamic simulation models, to investigate design and control issues and to provide the project with recommendations and solutions using Hysys Dynamics software.

The development of surge study models, to investigate design and surge pressure issues and to provide the project with recommendations and solutions using Flowmaster2 software.
Over-viewing and supervising the work done by external dynamic simulation consultants
Developing methods and work practices as they relate to dynamic simulation.
Leading a small team of engineers from time to time as workload required.
Training engineers in the use of Hysys Dynamics and Flowmaster2.
Reduce requirement to subcontract any dynamic simulation work by developing in-house solutions.

Ability to function as a project process engineer / process control engineer as and when required.
