MECHANICAL ENGINEER SR
The successful Sr Mechanical Engineer candidate will be an integral member of a cross-functional team, delivering ‘data communications’ interconnect solutions to the market. The position will require a strong focus on quality and best engineering practices, as well as demonstrated understanding of the process of New Product Introduction. The candidate must possess solid mechanical aptitude, the ability to prioritize and lead project tasks to completion, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members to achieve business objectives.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

* M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience or B.S. with 10 years of experience
* Demonstrated leadership in small teams and across team boundaries
* Proficiency in design using Pro/Engineer with Pro/Intralink. Solidworks’ experience can be considered as well.
* Experience in off-shore molding and stamping is a plus
* Proven knowledge in mechanical design principles & material selection
* Familiarity with electronic systems and understanding of electronic component fabrication processes
* Thermal and structural analysis and modeling experience is a plus.
