Safety Systems Lifecycle Engineer - OH - US
The Safety Systems Lifecycle Engineer is part of the team that assists in identification and implementation of the program to address safety systems issues within Toledo Refinery. Key functions of the role will include development of site technical practices governing the life cycle of SIS systems, participating in hazard risk analysis including Hazard and Operability Reviews (HAZOP) and Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA), participating in design reviews of SIS's (Safety Instrumented Systems), performing functional safety reviews, and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in an Engineering-related descipline required.
- A minimum of 5 years of engineering experience related to safety systems essential.
- Knowledge of ISA SP84.01 specification required.
- Basic understanding of refinery processes and associated hazards.
