Responsibilities

The Application Engineer will develop and prepare technical proposals for the modification of existing Gas Turbine and related auxiliary equipment, including cost estimation, according to Company processes and procedures.
* Be responsible for the compliance to Customer technical specifications.
* Coordinate the Design / Engineering multi-disciplinary team, as well as with other O&G Functions and with the Client (Customers, Suppliers, Contractors; Sourcing, Finance, etc) to ensure timely flow of information and meet budget assigned.
* Ensure the correctness of the scope of supply, technical interfaces according to the customer requests.
* Define the costs of proposed solutions.
* Provide support for client meetings at short notice both during offer and negotiation phases.
*Support and drive productivity / process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
* BS degree in Engineering or high school diploma/GED with 2+ years experience.
* Minimum of 1 year of turbine / turbomachinery experience.
* Minimum of 2 years in a technical role (Application Engineer, Project Engineer, Process Engineer, or Design Engineer).
