Position Duties/Responsibilities: CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER III Performs construction engineering assignments of a varied nature requiring a full working knowledge of construction engineering practices. Exercises professional judgment within the framework of broad guidelines provided by superiors. May have responsibility to provide direction to less experienced construction engineers, or construction office technical or clerical personnel. May specialize in a single field or area or assume a lead role in a specific segment of a construction project. The Welding Field Engineer is responsible for monitoring and supporting field welding activities to support the installation of boiler piping and hangers, Boiler components, Boiler Duct Work, structural steel Activities. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: Specific duties/responsibilities: - Implement and maintain Bechtel Field Welding program. - Provide specialized welding engineering support for construction to - Provide technical expertise for ASME, API, and AWS or other code - Designed and fabricated items.
