Minimum three years experience in one or more of the following areas:
ASME Section III (nuclear) pressure vessel design or fabrication
ASME Section VIII (chemical, refinery, etc.) pressure vessel design or fabrication
ASME Section XI repairs, replacements and modifications to nuclear power plants (steam generator replacements, reactor pressure vessel head replacements, etc.)
Design or fabrication of containers for spent nuclear fuel storage or transport
US Citizenship required
Job Description :
For NUHOMS Dry Shielded Canisters (DSCs), NUHOMS onsite transfer casks, TN metal storage casks, and transport packagings: Prepare the procurement specifications and drawings, review fabrication documents (drawings, routers, welding, inspection and test procedures, etc.), prepare design changes and non-conformance evaluations as required during fabrication, provide technical direction and oversight to the fabrication subcontractor, and contribute fabrication and design know-how to product improvement and the development of new products.
