Great opportunity with a well established company located in the Houston TX area for a Mechanical Engineer that has experience in the area of mechanical engineering such as static and rotating equipment. Petrochemical / Refinery experience is a must to be considered for this position. This position will be responsible for pressure vessel calculations client specification reviews piping design and specification and to review / approve of other engineers work. Qualified candidates must have approximately 10 years mechanical engineering experience an intimate knowledge of ASME Section VIII familiarity with ANSI and API codes and experience with client specification review with the ability to understand impact on equipment instrumentation and fabrication. You must be able to participate in the review of detailed design and provide guidance to Jr level Engineers. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is needed. The ability to develop sound working relationships with internal / external customers and a demonstrated high degree of coordination planning and organizational skills is a must. Relocation is available for eligible candidates.
