Sr. Drilling Engineer to Advisor

This position provides office support of Drilling Department within the Central Division from an engineering position.
Job Description:
Performs engineering work requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of engineering tasks. May be required to prepare estimated drilling well costs for company operated exploratory, developmental and remedial drilling activities. Precise and accurate well designs for drilling activities. Provide technical assistance to drilling operations staff to ensure that each well is completed in a safe, efficient manner. Generation of Final Well Reports on a project basis, depicting success and/or failure of specific operations as a result of implementation of designed drilling procedure for utilization of future well plans.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum engineering plus a minimum of 5 - 10 years industry experience. Requires strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively work within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve project related goals. Excellent communication skills to effectively disseminate planning process and results of drilling plans. Efficient time management and the ability to concurrently handle multiple projects Ability to work independently, self-motivated. Experience in the design of horizontal wells is a necessary skill set.
