Job Description
Under general supervision, provides technical advice and guidance for all phases of assigned large/complex engineering projects and programs, ensuring the successful conclusion of all phases within an appropriate time and at appropriate cost.
Job Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering discipline or related field of study
* Seven (7) years, or more engineering experience in an area or areas relevant to assignment
* Knowledge of the principles and practices of structural engineering and engineering design
* Able to investigate, research, evaluate, and provide engineering recommendations
* Skilled in managing large/complex engineering projects
* Effective oral and written communication skills
* Ability to develop/ maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
* Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced degree or Professional Engineering (PE) Certification preferred.
