Upstream (Sr. Project Engineer - Offshore)

Duties: Plans, schedules and conducts broad and/or technically complex offshore engineering assignments requiring judgment, independent evaluation, selection and significant adaptation and deviation from standard techniques and procedures. May plan and coordinate the work of less experienced engineers. Serves as a technical expert in meetings with customers and vendors. Travels to project meetings and job sites as necessary. Develops new techniques and solutions and suggests and justifies product and work process improvements. Independently performs most assignments. Receives technical guidance only on very unusual or complex problems.

Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering. A fully competent project engineer with a well developed knowledge of offshore facilities and project engineering principles and practices. Competent in all facets of offshore facilities engineering, with a well-developed knowledge of general upstream oil and gas engineering principles and practices. Working knowledge of the industry's latest technology and clear understanding of how offshore facilities integrate into a complete project. 7+ years of related engineering experience.
