Mechanical Engineer

Position Objective:
This position is accountable for providing design and implementation leadership in the development of sophisticated paper handling devices. The applicant will work as part of a team performing those tasks associated with concept development, design, and testing of paper handling devices. This position is accountable for the mechanical functionality of designs implemented, and will be expected to perform design analyses when required. This position may also require implementation of improvements to an existing product and releasing the associated documentation to manufacturing.

Qualifications

* A Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
* A demonstrated record in the design and delivery of robust mechanical systems and product development experience from concept generation through commercialization.
* One to three years of work experience preferably related to paper handling and office machines
* Action and results oriented
* Excellent oral and written communication
* Effective collaborator and team player
* Working knowledge of manufacturing processes associated with sheet metal, turnings, plastic moldings, finishes, etc.
* CAD and PDM experience required; Pro/Engineer and WindChill preferred
