Process Quality Engineer

Business Unit: GE Infrastructure, Oil & Gas
Function: Manufacturing

Responsibilities:

The Process Quality Engineer will lead manufacturing in its drive to reach six sigma goals by establishing and maintaining a high level of quality within its product lines. This will be accomplished through effective use of root cause analysis, statistical process control, quality plans and excellent communications with the manufacturing team.

Qualifications:

# BS degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science or 4+ years of experience.
# 2+ years of manufacturing or quality experience.

Desired:

* Six Sigma Green Belt (GE employees only).

# Knowledge with mechanical design engineering and tolerance theory.
# Statistical background, Six Sigma, lean manufacturing knowlege.
# Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the company
