We are looking for a Mining or Civil technologist to join our Long Range Mine and Tailings Planning Team. The successful candidate will be working in support of our Tailings engineers.

Specific Job Duties:

* Perform volumetric calculations for tailings facilities
* Assist with data analysis and collection in support of tailings modeling
* Perform some tailings modeling, assist with reporting requirements
* Be the key operations contact to define pond sampling requirements.

Qualifications
# Applicants must be graduates or graduating from an accredited Mining or Civil technology program. Other technologists will also be considered who have equivalent related experience.
# Experience with Microstation and Surpac is preferred however experience with similar software packages (Autocad, Minesite etc.) will be considered.
# Experience with Excel. Some experience with formulas, macros, linking etc.
# Candidates with applicable tailings / mining experience will be given preference.
