Must Have:

* 7+ years experience in FPGA design/development
* Expert in VHDL (or Verilog). Extensive use of generics
* Provably optimal designs, with minimum necessary complexity
* Experience working with a team of engineers
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Can handle multiple tasks well while directing others
* BSEE or equivalent

Nice to Have:

* Experience with networking protocols.
* Experience leading teams of 3 - 5 engineers

Responsibilities:

* Architect creative solutions using complex core FPGA designs
* Lead and mentor team in the design, development and testing of complex core FPGA designs
* Work with standards bodies, marketing team, and customers to understand latest technologies
* Participate in documentation of functional spec, design spec and test spec
