Job Description:

SBM Offshore Group is a multinational group of companies selling systems and services to the oil and gas industry. The Company’s clients are mainly the offshore oil and gas producing companies both private and government owned, and its market position has been established in a strongly competitive environment.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
# Review marine and drilling systems PI&D for mobile offshore
drilling units and vessels.
# Select methods, procedures and optimization of the design and
materials within the scope of project specifications.
# Engineer may be assigned as the Package Engineer for the
equipment of the marine and drilling systems.
# Handle and coordinate equipment packages for offshore
facilities.
# Prepare RFQ, bid evaluations, and technical and commercial
recommendation on equipment packages.
# Work in a multi-discipline environment as part of a project task
force.
# Travel to equipment fabrication sites to attend FATs, manage,
monitor and coordinate with vendors, inspectors and project
team.

All tasks and duties as assigned by SBM Offshore Group Management.

Education and Experience:
# Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Marine or Ocean
Engineering
# Minimum 5 years experience in design engineering,
shipyard or offshore construction facilities with good
knowledge of marine and drilling equipment and
systems.

Software Experience:
Preferred:
# AutoCad
# MathCad
# Beginner Level-Microsoft Office
# Pipe Net

All positions offered require excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills. Positions may require overseas travel and/or offshore assignment.
